New Family Photos

Geremy, Meriam and Will had a great first night.  Will is learning how to breast feed, Meriam is continuing to recover from the delivery, and Geremy is the designated diaper changer.  They would love visitors, and ask that you please call before you come.  They are scheduled to go home tomorrow (Friday).  Please continue to keep Geremy & Meriam in your prayers as they are adjusting to their new roles as Will's mommy & daddy.

Inducing...

We got the official word this morning that we will be inducing this Wednesday if Will does not arrive before then.  I am very progressed, but my water has not broken yet.  I can't figure out if all the pressure I am feeling this evening is contractions or just left over pain from my examination this morning.  I am kind of hoping that Will comes on his own before Wednesday, but we will see what happens.  Please keep us in your prayers that the delivery will be smooth and that Will will be born healthy.  We are ready for the rain to stop, but are glad that schools are cancelled tomorrow.  If we do go into labor, hopefully traffic won't be that bad.

We'll let you all know when labor starts.  My friend Sarah will be keeping the blog updated on Wednesday when we induce.

Working 9 to 5

It seems that Friday may have been my last day at work before Will arrives. It looks like we will be inducing labor on Wednesday if Will does not decide to make his grand entrance before then.  We go to the Dr on Monday morning, so we'll know for sure then.  I am going to rest on Monday and Tuesday.  We have enclosed a picture taken of me at work on Friday.  This pregnancy has been so wonderful.  I have been able to work right up until the very end.  I love my job and what I get to do every day.  I've actually been a little nervous about being away from work for 12 weeks because I can't remember not working a 9 to 5 job since I was 15.  However, I am certain there will be plenty to keep me busy over this next 12 weeks. :)  I am looking forward to diaper changes, midnight feedings and watching our little one grow, among the countless other things I will be doing.  I will head back to work in mid-December.  Thanks for all your prayers through out our pregnancy.  Please continue to pray for us as Will's arrival draws near.  We are very excited and so very grateful!!!

Maternity Pictures

We decided at the last minute that we wanted to get some maternity pictures taken. After seeing our friend Ashly's fantastic pictures, we contacted her photographer, Jason Pendley. Jason took some great pictures of us and will be taking pictures of Will over his first year. We look forward to those pictures, especially after seeing these maternity pics. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did. It's hard to believe that Will's arrival is almost here. Only a few more days....

Here is the link to the pictures http://www.jasonpendley.com/Clients

Here is one of the pictures Jason took for us:

37 weeks and counting

The nursery and 3 week countdown

We have finished Will's nursery. We feel like he is coming home to such a great place thanks to our family and friends. We can't wait to have him with us and we can't wait to hold him. Please continue to pray for us as the time draws near. Specifically, please pray for a healthy delivery and baby. Also, please pray that the Doctor, mid-wife, and nurses are all wise and helpful. We will share pictures of Will as soon as he arrives.

Thank you so much for sharing in our joy over these past 8 1/2 months!
