We are officially celebrating having Will in our lives for over a week now.  I am left speechless as I try to describe the emotions both Geremy and I have experienced and continue to experience.  There are moments in the day when I look at Will and my eyes overflow with tears.  He is more beautiful and sweeter than I could have imagined.  There are also times where I have been so tired that I cannot think straight.  Thankfully my Mom has been here this week to help me through the night feedings.  I can't imagine this week without her.

Another new and wonderful emotion of having Will has been such a strong increase in my love for Geremy.  There was a time in my life when I thought having a child would take away from our marriage, but I was so wrong.  Having this joint accomplishment of a son, Will, has only deepened my love for my wonderful husband.  Geremy is so great with me and Will.  He has been so patient and helpful with poopy diapers, me crying from the pain of recovering from childbirth, or just being there to tell me how good I look even if I haven't had time to shower.

I couldn't wrap up this post without one more thought from our first week.  Many of you know that we began to try to have a child over 3 years ago.  It has been a long journey getting to this point.  Now that we are here, our hearts are filled with gratitude for what God has done in our lives.  He brought us to a place of trust in his provision for our lives.  He has graciously given us a child and we are very grateful!  I think this verse sums up my thoughts best, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." - James 1:17
